Yes, it’s that time of year again. Jo’s on holiday. Which means she will be relaxed and raring to go when she returns.
Yet , how do the other staff feel? Apprehensive? Who will we ask about…… (fill in the dots for your business) when she’s not here?
How do we get the delivery made on time when…..? Who can respond to a ‘technical’ question …. why has this policy/decision been made? Could I have not have been told this when I registered?
And your customers? They probably don’t know there is a ‘Jo’; the person who makes things ‘happen’ in your business; unless Jo can’t solve the problem.
